getting “nexted” – random videochats with chatroulette

there is some new videochat sensation at the horizon: chatroulette. this service randomly connects you via webcam to a stranger anywhere on the world. casey neistat produced a really nice video about the service, in which he did some research on some really burning questions:
1. the demographic-stuff: 71% boys, 15% girls, 14% perverts – and most of them young. is there a relation between age and gender/perverts?
2. how long it takes, to get nexted (thats when the person on the other site don’t want to talk to you and simply presses the next-button) – well it depends. if you are a boy, one out of ten talk to you, the rest need 2.9 seconds to next you. if you are a girl, nine out of ten talk to you with a duration of at least 2 minutes.
have you ever used chatroulette? what’s your opinion of this service? have you found new friends with this or did you use it just for fun? i am listening and curious to hear your story!
